Aspirations for October.

Remember that time that I totally forgot that I had a blog since I came home from a mission and didn't post in like forever ever?! Let's not repeat that again mmkay? Fall is my current obsession right now despite the fact that it means it's getting colder (and in Utah cold=snow) but how can one not rejoice in all things leaves, sweaters, pumpkin, and baking?! #amiright? There are about 500 things that I want to do and celebrate this month but I'll stick to these top 10 and explore more options once I've crossed these off the list:

1. decorate my apartment for fall
2. bake some fall treats (aka pumpkin everything)
3. take cute fall pictures with the leaves
4. carve pumpkins
5. watch general conference (semi annual inspiration from the LDS church leaders. For more info or to watch, check out www.lds.org)
6. have a fall treats party with classic halloween movies (Hocus Pocus anyone?)
7. have a bonfire in the canyon
8. girls night in with all the crafty goodness that interest has to offer
9. reading some good books and magazines
10. picking the perfect halloween costume and getting down with my friends

You're not even here yet and I want to shout my love from the rooftops for October! Let's get fall in full swing and capture the sweet moments! Pictures to come via the instagram @lalynnauten

Sometimes.

Sometimes...
Your nephews come to California on vacation and you don't even have time to get online for anything.
This means you don't check blogs, facebook, instagram (the horror!) etc.
This results in having like zip in photos taken from summer escapades to Target, restaurants, birthday parties, thrift stores and parks.
But on the flipside: This summer be rocking and I memories of the craziness and party life (aka redbox and sour treats) like off the chain man.
Keep em coming! (Be back soon in the fullest of swing y'all and not just in the selfie on the bed with a cray face on for fun yo)
XOXO

The Skinny on the THM.

So the past year and a half of my life has been spent bringing mis queridos hermanos y hermanas mas cerca a Cristo for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a missionary. It was the greatest and most challenging time of my life to date but I would not trade in the experiences and trials that the past 18 months threw at me for anything! I love the gospel so much and hope that all those that I taught will remember the importance of living the basic principles of the gospel and will put into practice daily scripture study, praying, and attending church meetings weekly as well as obeying God's commandments. I've learned that doing these simple and at times seem insignificant things actually help us to be spiritual safe and protected. Here are some of my favorite photo memories:
